SWTOR Alderaan Blue Mastery Datacron Location Guide

The Blue Mastery Datacron increases your aptitude in combat, allowing you to do more damage. It will grant you Mastery +4 to your permanent stats along with codex: Galactic History 43: The Great Droid Revolution.

There are 5 Datacrons in total located on the planet of Alderaan.

Datacrons are collectables scattered around the galaxy in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Each Datacron contributes towards your Legacy's passive stats permanently. Furthermore, they also provide interesting Lore and Codex Entries about the Old Republic era.

Starting coordinates: 1227, -124.

This Datacron is located on a small island in a lake directly west of House Alde. The Intended path starts at the bridge to the Organa Medical Camp in the Juran Mountains, which are friendly for Republic Players, but enemies to Imperial players. (For pro climbers, see further below)

Take the narrow path to the left of the camp, between the rocks and trees.

At the end of the path you will find a platform with a broken lift.

The lift moves very slowly and I recommend letting it reach the top and not try to jump onto it until it's going downwards and remember to jump from an angle.

Now, just enjoy the ride to the island.

You are in no rush to jump at a specific time, so just let the lift reach its destination above the island or jump whenever you feel comfortable.

Cheesy Path

If you find it tough to jump to the lift, but you feel comfortable climbing, then here's a little cheesy path. Get to the island through the water to the right side of the island. Starting coordinates: 1141, 87.

Face the slope on the rocks that are close to the water surface and jump up with a running jump.

Jump to the next point slightly higher up to your right. It can be helpful to target yourself (click your own profile picture or press F1) so you know how much of the surface you stand on.

Turn around and move slightly backward and do a small running jump to the top part of the rocks.

This will grant you Mastery +4 to your permanent stats along with codex: Galactic History 43: The Great Droid Revolution.

This datacron holds unheard of power and knowledge collected by an ancient race. You access its power and discover writings which are clearly only one small piece of a massive galactic history:

Debate had been raging in the Republic over the issue of droid rights: Did droids deserve the same treatment as organic beings, and was owning droids tantamount to slavery? This question was rendered moot when a Czerka-built assassin droid, HK-01, went rogue and began reprogramming other droids to rise up against their masters, in what would be called the Great Droid Revolution.

Republic citizens, surrounded by thousands of rogue droids--every model, from protocol to sanitation to battle units--found themselves at the mercy of their former servants. Several planets were subjugated in the name of the droid rebellion, until the signal controlling the droids was traced.

Following the signal, a team of Jedi destroyed HK-01, returning the rogue droids to their original programming. The relieved Republic returned to normal, and the issue of droid rights was not raised again.
