SWTOR Test Plan Mission Guide

This guide will help you through the "Test Plan" mission, the third part of a long series of quests that are required for the Kessan's Landing Datacron achievement in SWTOR.

Datacrons are collectables scattered around the galaxy in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Each Datacron contributes towards your Legacy's passive stats permanently. Furthermore, they also provide interesting Lore and Codex Entries about the Old Republic era.

This quest is a continuation from the There's Always a Backup quest.

Pick up Test Plan from the Output Terminal attached to the Backup Terminal inside the Hypermatter Engineering Facility in Black Hole, Corellia.

Return yet again to Iokath and find your way back to the Weapons Factory. There you have to loot 3 Fabricator Components from the clickable crates named Fabricator Parts.

Once you have gathered all your Fabricator Parts, follow the quest marker south in the Weapons Factory. Download the Fabricator Plans from the Schematic Databanks.

Now return to your Lab in Kessan's Landing, Ord Mantell and install a Fabricator Frame in the corner where the green marker indicates. Then install the Fabricator Panel, and finally the Fabricator Unit.

With the Fabricator Unit installed, click the Test Protocol Terminal to input the Upgrade Instructions. Following this, use the Temporary Abilities to fabricate upgraded Plating, Coolant and Regulator at the Fabricator Unit. Lastly, pick up the Materials Output Receptacle.

Pick up all the droid parts, place the parts on the Workbench and repair the Test Subject.

Activate the Test Subject at the Activator Controls, followed by installing the upgrades through the temporary ability.

With the new upgrades installed, the little guy is ready for a new test. Click the Test Protocol Terminal to initiate the the test. Unfortuntely, the little guy is scared and is in need of a little encouragement. Click the temporary ability Encourage Test Subject to continue the test.

After a successful test, you can reclaim the Shielding Unit left on the floor.

All that is left to do, is to move on to sentient trials. Simply activate the Shielding Unit by clicking the icon at your mission log and step onto the Lava Pit.
Note: If you stay on the Lava Pit longer than 5 seconds, you will be set aflame.

Remember to thank you little helper, by clicking the Temporary Ability Thank Test Subject.

Lastly, return to your Landing Zone in Ardak Point and install the Geothermal Shield Placement on the wall.

This concludes your questline and grants you the hidden achievement: Technological Breakthrough: Kessan's Landing along with 25 achievement points. Now onto the final hidden quest for the Endurance Datacron.
