SWTOR Tatooine (Republic) Orange Mastery Datacron Location Guide
The Orange Mastery Datacron increases your aptitude in combat, allowing you to do more damage. It will grant you Mastery +3 to your permanent stats along with codex: Galactic History 39: The Third Great Schism. There are 5 Datacrons in total located on the planet of Tatooine.
Datacrons are collectables scattered around the galaxy in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Each Datacron contributes towards your Legacy's passive stats permanently. Furthermore, they also provide interesting Lore and Codex Entries about the Old Republic era.
Starting coordinates: 1628, -3720.
This Datacron is located on a rooftop in the middle of Anchorhead. This is an easy jumping puzzle, definitely easier than the Imperial Orange Mastery Datacron. You can choose whether you want to collect this on Republic or Empire side as they count towards the same achievement.
Climb the sandbank up to the wall, turn left and follow it all the way to the end. Use a mount for speed.
At the end of the wall climb onto the rooftop and turn left and run in between the domes.
Turn right at the second dome, run to the edge of the rooftop and turn left.
Follow the wall around and get on top of the wall that goes right.
At the end of the wall get onto the next rooftop and get to the opposite side of the dome.
At the corner, jump onto the blue canopy and follow it up to the left side.
Run across this rooftop to the left corner and jump onto the next one, staying on the right side of the round tower with a dome on top.
Use a mount to jump onto the wall slightly below to the right.
There's a cheesy path here. At the little insert in the wall, you can jump up to an invisible ledge. This is not the intended path though.
Once on top, run around the corner, jump to the next rooftop section and run to the opposite side where there's a large blue canopy anchored.
Run up the canopy, staying on the left side and jump to the rooftop.
Follow the right side of the large dome until you get to the opposite corner from where you start. You will see the Datacron on a rooftop below.
If you struggle getting up at the insert in the call, then this is the correct path as intended. Run straight ahead instead.
Jump down at the edge of the rooftop on the right side of the small blue canopy below. Be sure to aim for the wall where it is anchored, otherwise you might fall through the gap.
From the wall, jump up on the next rooftop and turn right towards the large blue canopy.
Run to the top of the canopy, either side is fine.
Follow the left side of the large dome to the corner of the rooftop. The Datacron will be located on a rooftop below.
This will grant you Mastery +3 to your permanent stats along with codex: Galactic History 39: The Third Great Schism.
This datacron holds unheard of power and knowledge collected by an ancient race. You access its power and discover writings which are clearly only one small piece of a massive galactic history:
Freedon Nadd proved that for the Jedi, the struggle against darkness would be eternal. In the years after Nadd's death, a civil war broke out on Coruscant between members of the Jedi Order. The dark siders responsible were eventually driven from Coruscant to the Vultar system.
These Dark Jedi began exploring their new home and discovered massive, ancient machines that spoke of an extraordinary discovery. The Vultar system appeared to have been artificially constructed; these machines were clearly relics of the long-forgotten Architects who had built it.
Eager for revenge on the Jedi Order, the Dark Jedi sought to use these machines, including the device they called the "Cosmic Turbine." But the machines were far beyond their ability to control. Days into their attempt, a catastrophic accident destroyed the machines, the Dark Jedi and the entire Vultar system.
