SWTOR Nar Shaddaa (Empire) Presence Datacron Location Guide
The Presence Datacron increases the effectiveness of your companion. It will grant you Presence +3 to your permanent stats along with codex: Galactic History 35: The Gank Massacres. There are 5 Datacrons in total located on the planet of Nar Shaddaa.
Note: You can collect them on either Imperial or Republic Side as they count towards the same achievement.
Datacrons are collectables scattered around the galaxy in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Each Datacron contributes towards your Legacy's passive stats permanently. Furthermore, they also provide interesting Lore and Codex Entries about the Old Republic era.
Starting coordinates: 1599, -2663.
This Datacron is located on top of a pole in the Rebel Refugee Zone (Heroic Area). This is quite a tough jumping puzzle, so patience is advised. Starting point is at a big stack of crates and containers in the Duros Sector Slums in the Duros Sector.
From the top of the first container, proceed behind you up the crates to the next container.
From this container, climb up the big stack of crates to your right until you reach the top.
From the top of the crates is where you will experience the tough jumps to three individual beams. As always, try to jump from an angle and remember to press W + SPACE at the same time, no running jumps.
From the third beam you'll jump onto the catwalk at the end. Then run to the end of the catwalk towards a small stack of crates and jump onto the canopy.
Run to the upper corner of the canopy onto the catwalk on the other side.
At this catwalk get to the elevator at the end with the green light and take the elevator to Residential Catwalks.
When you load in, you can see the shimmer from the Datacron in the distance. Jump onto the ledge hugging the wall to the left that is attached to a pipe.
Follow the pipe around the corner until the end at another catwalk at the end.
From the catwalk, jump down onto the canopy that will lead directly to the pole on which the Datacron is located. Be careful with the holes in the canopy. You can slip through, if you're unlucky.
This will grant you Presence +3 to your permanent stats along with codex: Galactic History 35: The Gank Massacres.
This datacron holds unheard of power and knowledge collected by an ancient race. You access its power and discover writings which are clearly only one small piece of a massive galactic history:
Addicted to the spice ryll--which drove them into a murderous frenzy--the Porporite species had become a threat to the galaxy. The Neimoidians had a monopoly on ryll and, terrified of the coming Porporite swarm, turned to the Ganks to stop the Porporites quickly.
The Ganks were mysterious, cybernetic mercenaries that often worked for the Hutts. With the Ganks' reputation as cold-blooded killers, the Neimoidians were confident they could handle the Porporite armies. But the Ganks' solution was to eliminate the entire Porporites species, and they hunted the Porporites to extinction.
Encouraged by this "success," the Ganks began wiping out other species, quickly becoming a far greater threat than the Porporites. The Jedi took up arms against them, but Supreme Chancellor Vocatara was forced to commission the first juggernaut droids to end the Gank menace for good.
