SWTOR Nar Shaddaa (Republic) Red Mastery Datacron Location Guide
The Red Mastery Datacron increases your aptitude in combat, allowing you to do more damage. It will grant you Mastery +3 to your permanent stats along with codex: Galactic History 37: Freedon Nadd. There are 5 Datacrons in total located on the planet of Nar Shaddaa.
Datacrons are collectables scattered around the galaxy in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Each Datacron contributes towards your Legacy's passive stats permanently. Furthermore, they also provide interesting Lore and Codex Entries about the Old Republic era.
Starting coordinates: 2298, 3071.
This Datacron is located in an Access Tunnel high up above Shadow Town. This is quite a tough jumping puzzle, so patience is necessary. Start by climbing the crates and containers, to get on top of the Maintenance Area's catwalk.
When you reach the catwalk, turn right at the first turn you can take.
As you pass this narrow catwalk, you will find what looks like a Datacron to your right on the other side. This is not the Datacron you are looking for. Turn left instead and climb the crates.
From the crate, jump to the beam and follow it parallel to the wall.
Midway on the beam turn right and jump onto the pipe just above. Use a running jump.
Turn left and jump onto the top of the pipe, again with a running jump, but be sure to stay aligned with the pipe, or you'll fall off.
From the top of the pipe you have to jump onto the lamp. You do not have much room to maneuver on. I recommend disabling your spring (right-click the buff) so that you don't overshoot the jump. Jump from an angle and aim towards the part at the wall.
From the lamp, turn around and jump on top of what looks like a badly mounted TV (it's some sort of projector light). Remember to enable your sprint again!
From the TV, turn around again and now jump onto the narrow pipe.
Follow the pipe to the left until it ends at the wall, turn left and jump off to the pipes below it.
Follow these pipes upwards, then onto the conduit, then to the catwalk upstairs. Be sure to always stay aligned with the pipe to mitigate gliding off to either side.
On the catwalk you will find an elevator right around the corner that leads to the Access Tunnels.
The Datacron will be located at the end of the Access Tunnel in the middle of a water filled room.
This will grant you Mastery +3 to your permanent stats along with codex: Galactic History 37: Freedon Nadd.
This datacron holds unheard of power and knowledge collected by an ancient race. You access its power and discover writings which are clearly only one small piece of a massive galactic history:
Trained at the Jedi Temple on Ossus centuries after the Great Hyperspace War, Freedon Nadd was a powerful but temperamental Padawan. When denied promotion to the rank of Jedi Knight, the enraged Nadd struck down his Master. He left the Jedi and began to study the powers of the dark side.
Although Nadd learned much from a Sith holocron, he craved more. Nadd traveled to Yavin Four where he encountered the Massassi, savages who were once servants of the Sith Lord Naga Sadow. Nadd defeated them easily, and the awestruck Massassi took him to Sadow, who rested in a suspended animation chamber.
Unaware of the Sith Empire rebuilding itself on Dromund Kaas, Sadow believed Nadd was the acolyte he had been waiting for. But he underestimated Nadd's craving for power, and Nadd soon killed Sadow and left Yavin Four behind. Nadd settled on the distant world of Onderon, becoming a legendary tyrant.
